For someone new to the paid-to-read world, it can be difficult to navigate
the treacherous waters. Of the hundreds of programs out there,
how do you know which ones you can trust? Education is the
key. The more you know about how the PTR world works, the better
chance you have of avoiding the pitfalls.
Most of us have had to learn the hard way -- by being burned several
times. This website was put together in the hope that a few PTR
newbies would find their way here and avoid some of the frustration and
disappointment the rest of us have experienced. But don't let
that stop you PTR veterans from having a look. You may find a few
useful tidbits as well.
If you're not sure what paid-to-read is all about your first stop
should be the Basics
page, where you'll find an explanation of how PTR
works. After that there are lots of pages offering tips on how to
choose the right programs to join.
If you're already a member of a few programs and want to begin
advertising for referrals, the
